Luvly! I've never heard this, despite having grown up on the Corries. I prefer this tune to the Rory Dall's Port one it's often sung to. It goes great on slide guitar!

This was the nicest - sung with sensitiviy and feeling - I have found on Youtube. Well done the Corries. But! I've been spoilt by having heard this sung by the Irish Folk Singer DAN O'SULLIVAN OF COUNTY CORK. His version sends shivers up and down my spine. It needs to be sung slowly, dwelling on each word. Go to Kenmare and listen to Dan O'Sullivan.
