I removed anything that was copyrighted and I still didn't get partner. It was because of "threshold of views", which is translation for your videos aren't popular enough even thought I got featured a few days back. Oh well. I'll get it eventually.

I agree with you. I think if the person managing the channel has copyright material, YT should give them a chance to take it down. If the person takes it down, understanding what the rules are, they should be allowed to be a partner. Winger is one of the most talented people on this ENTIRE site, and I know she should be partner. It bothers me greatly that she was denied. She is way too talented, and we should be honored to have her a partner..

That's what I said Spanky. I had 1 violation which resulted in them pulling the video...I played Prince music and lip synced to it. I boldly declare there is no rhyme or reason to YT making or not making people partner's. I think at one point they had chimps in charge of saying yes or no then they switched it to panda's and now possibly kangaroo's do it.

I don't see a lot of logic among the "decision makers" of youtube when it comes to deciding who should be cited for copyright violation, or who should be allowed a parnership. It all seems very hit and miss, with tons of anime channels and movie and music channels violating copyrights and getting away with it. And then one hears about some vlogger being suspended because they were talking... and, like, Judas Priest or whoever was playing on a stereo in the background! Very curious indeed.

I think it must depend on who is behind the decisions on what day. I have seen people make partner who get 30 hits per vid while another person who gets 300 hits per vid was denied due to "not enough views". Strange.
