An 'appeal to ignorance' is to claim a lack of evidence or explanation to be evidence of something. Primitive man used this same faulty reasoning to claim that disease, lightning, earthquakes, and sunlight were caused by various supernatural entities (demons, Thor, Atlas, and Ra) simply because they had no other explanation.

ok so something came from someone...well where did it come from? The movie is just pointing out, that our logic atleast has logic, and fact, the ability to counter one point with another. Anything is possible when you put "God" behind it. Further more if a god created everything then what says it's YOUR god? No one on here was saying god didn't exist, it's just not factual. You can still go to church just keep it out of our schoools...or got to rome if you really want christain theocracy.

i don't wank it, i read it. i haven't even read the whole thing. never really needed to. my faith in God is for someone else, not for myself. so I'm not completely a bible wanker, just a person who does not know it all and is trying to find the absolute truth beyond all lies and assumptions. asking me to prove Gods existence is like me asking you to disprove it. vain arguments. i just rely on the here and now and what i observe to be true, rather it goes against my deepest desires or not.

everything in the universe just didnt all of a sudden come into being, there had to be something, before the universe, that began it all, just like you cant have a computer program without a programmer, the program w/o a programmer would not exist, and if a cell has info to fill a 900 page book, then how did the cell obtain all that information, or how didi it grow into such a being that it is able to hold such info?
