hey my dad bought me a wakeboard for my birthday and tried it out and was able to stand up bit i had trouble standing sidewase, and if i can i can only do it with one hand any tips??

You say start off going slow. You mean for the driver of the boat not to gun it, where as if you are pulling a water skier, you gun it to get them up and out. We tried several times to get out of the water, and no go. :-( Thanks anyone that can give us any info!!
