I went there last week. The renovations are a huge improvement.

When I went in late August 07 the huge California letters were there. I'll kind of miss them, but Carsland sounds pretty cool.

But Ratatouille takes place in France, so I don't think it would fit.

i think its cool that they're making the park better but ill miss it a little bit cause i have so many memories there :( but whatever. it needs better-ness :D i have always liked disneyland better though

First of all, that Splash mountain thing was VERY random, and second, because of the economy they had to do something with that park to make more money, but i do admit that maliboomer shouldnt be torn down.

i would have made mullholland madness instead of goofy,ratatouille. why? because it fits well. every turn on the ride would be like trying to get away from a mouse trap or something trying to kill reme' and a drop would be like a get away from a cage or something. and random mist effects like bug spray or something. haha i dunno. just thought it would be cool. but i can realize that would be DIFFICULT since its just a simple wild mouse coaster :D but i love goofy too so haha im still excited!(:

they shouldnt remove the maliboomer or add a little mermaid ride .... they need more thrill rides for more visitors !!!!

But that's exactly the problen they're trying to et away from. This park was made too focused on California. It was made to tell the story of California, present and past. The people didn't see and/or understand that, causing an impact on attendance and customer satisfaction. The new DCA is supposed to tell the story of Walt Disney when he got to CA and how he grew to his career. I personally love DCA how it is, but Disney has not failed me yet, so I'm looking forward to it.
