HHH was demoted to jobber for this incident. He was planned to win the KOTR but he had to job to jake the snake instead with Austin winning the KOTR. Where he made his famous Austin 3:16. If this incident had not happened, Austin 3:16(the main money spinner in the attitude era) may never have happened, and the attitude era may not have taken off as it did do. you could even argue, austin gaining prominance(as a result of the MSG incident), saved WWE from going out of buisness to WCW.

Austin never would have made his famous "Austin 3:16" speech on Jake Roberts if HHH had won KOTR like he was supposed to(but he got dropped as we all know), and the "Attitude Era" would have never been so popular. Austin was the face of the "Attitude Era."

Well, that's not exactly true. The "Attitude era" has been planned several months prior to this, and I don't see any correlation with how Stone Cold got his nickname and this 'Curtain Call' thing.
