Wow, I never said that anybody drills it in their heads. I said it's drilled in their heads to want to be a a size zero. Yeah, a lot of people see all the fast food commercials, but fast foods okay in moderation..it's a problem when people abuse it. If you need to desperately eat, have something healthy. Nobody is telling them to go to Mcdonalds or Burger King.

it is a choice at the BEGINNING stages ... it just gets out of hand sometimes before a person gets help

No one TRULY "drilled" THEM to be a size 0 nor do anyone tell anyone to eat their self to be a size 26 ... and for the record i think the average person see many mcdonalds, burger king or wendy's commercial on a daily basis

so it doesn't help if people tell anorexics "you should eat more, you're way too thin", cause that would only be an encouragement to them! and the longer the anorexia lasts, the worse it gets. when you have been chronically anorexic for over 10 years, it's almost hopeless =(

for "normal" people it's hard to understand why women suffering from anorexia don't even put on weight at the point when they are so thin they are close to dying. but the illness is a very strong addiction, anorexics only want to lose weight (and they detest food, their biggest fear is to gain weight), no matter how thin they already are. and they (obviously) don't want to look "pretty" in the common sense, I mean to us they look awful...

I'm rather confused? She has suffered since she was 13 and now she's 25 but she is still very anorexia. Surely she should have put on weight during those years, I'm not saying I don't feel sorry for cause I do it's awfutl thing and sad but I just want to understand why she has put on very little weight.

I thought she was about 40, when they said she was 25 I almost choked. I'm glad she has realised what she was putting herself through and got the help. Must have taken some guts to take those photos too.
