They actually turned it into big business, they are really just icons. Created to sell CDs. Hip hop died in 1995.
And the hip hop that's still high quality in terms of creativity or lyrics today you can't find on television or in Best Buy.
Wayne's songs are a complete joke and anyone with the slightest discrimination in music can tell that.
If you don't know that you're WAY out of the loop, kid.

I think it's hilarious how he turns his watch to the side of his wrist so it faces the camera to show it off....what a phony....like most rappers and hip hop guys.
What's the big deal about 50 and lil Wayne being gay? Most rappers act like a bunch of tough thugs, but they're probably gay.

I have to admit that he's pretty funny..and it's hard to make me laugh. Sometimes people are afraid to stand up to Hollywood. But..this cat's funny, and unafraid.
