While I agree with you that the guy going on that he won't have school is an idiot, it's also stupid to say that you can lose your house in this storm unless your house is made of printer paper or a cardboard box. It's a tropical storm for Christs sake! And don't go with "NO NOES! IT COULD TURN INTO A CAT. 1!". Any house that was worthy of ever being built in FL would survive this easily. Damn, why is everyone getting antsy on this? Because nothing's happened in 3 years? Paranoia in overdrive!
