This was so sad about Kristie. If they picked the Olympic team back then the way that they do now, in all likely hood, she would have been on the team and brought a lot to it and we might have gotten a team medal as well, but there isn't anyway of knowing really. I just feel so bad for her that she didn't seam to have any kind of hopes or dreams after gymnastics. That might have also added to her problems later on because all she saw herself as was a gymnast and nothing else.

When the two "women" are asking Terrie Sue how she is doing the second "woman" says "Give me a break lady, this is the biggest time in your life..." Is that a man/trannie?????? That looks like a dress, but the face, voice and hair all look like a man!

It actually happens at 2:49-2:50, its literally 1 second, but you can see she does the flick sort of from her shins; really weird!! Elena Shushunova also used to do a flick from her knees in her second tumbling pass.

Did anyone else notice when Kristie did her back-to-back tumbling on her floor routine, on the "return" tumble pass she actually does a back flick from her knees???

i compete in north carolina and at every meet i go to there is a coach who is really pretty pregnant and blond i just found out that that is kristie phillips she has a gym in north carolinaaits just a gym that competes in the state only nothing big though

That bit at the end of Kristie's segment is such bullshit. She is saying that as if she's trying to convince herself that there is something better in store for her. You can just tell though that she's not sure if there is (and there certainly wasn't as it turned out) and I really feel for her there.

I too would have left stack off, they needed a vaulter and beamer, it would have been cool if they could have alternated kristie and rhonda on vt/ub, and bb, fx would have made the team stronger
