Ike hit us here I Utah the other day. The next day I was on a train to the Olympics and we had turbulence, so I think it was IKE before it was fully formed

I've been in 7 hurricanes and I don't think they were even that high

brutalsun (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Exactly. I live in Katy 25 miles from houston and 80 miles from the coast... we got hammered. My neighborhood lies in ruin with 60 year old oaks shredded, garage doors sucked out and one guys wall collapsed. This thing was bad for a cat 2 storm.

Hey masterchief , now that the storm has passed what do you think. i live in Prestonwood and it kicked our ass.

HUH! When did Tomball move to within a mile of Houston? More like 25...
drunkenmasterchief (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Well, I'm in Tomball, which is not more than a mile away from Houston. All we will get is some high wind, I've been out side in a almost category 3 tornado before and I'm not scared of this. |
