I agree with you. There was a lotta misconduct by the judge and prosecutors. Not to mention it was the victim's father and mother that were supposedly using their daughter in an attempt to bring him down and win a civil suit, as well as see him in jail. According to his bio, Polanski claims to not have done anything sexually inappropriate to her, and he was under the assumption she was 16-17. If he'd know, he wouldn't let her be alone around him. He's trying to get the charges dropped now

he has suffered heaps i really do feel sory for polanski. the amount of loss that has consumed his life would send anyone off rails. he is a great director the pianist is up there with my favs. cant wait to see unother film from him soon that is just as good. if u read this polanski i hope one day u find peice and happyness in life.

he also lost his mother to holocaust; he said in an interview that he made Faye D. in Chinatown resemble his mother (which he hardly knew). So messed is that guy.

Polanski as a director....incredible...as a human being, deplorable. Still....what mother lets their 13 year old daughter be whisked away by a 43 yr old man unchaperoned? The kind that sees dollars signs maybe??

polanksi is an awsome director the pianist is a fine film. so is the 9th gate have u ever noticed that all his leading ladies in his films recemble sharon tate i feel sorry for the guy being hi profile and lossing his wife in a terable tragidy. it would be awsome to see a bio pic some day of his life

Thank you for making this film. I look forward to seeing it one day. I remember the summer of 1977 very well. Polanski was taken to the court house that was very near my high school but I never bunked off school to try and see him. Haaaa!!
