there aren't any similarities they along with sabbath founded metal thats all they have in common other than they both have incredible singers and guitarists

I agree...but that comparison is there because: they are contemporaries of one another both British both famous for the twin-guitar attack both incredibly influential Again, I agree with your point, but as an "old-school" metal fan, even I think of one immediately after I think of the other.

True... While I didn`t listen Priest ppl were telling me that they are similar to Maiden... But I listen Priest (a lot) and I can`t find any similarities...

Am I the only person that thinks Judas Preist and Iron Maiden sound nothing alike? I understand the genre is the same, but thats like comparing Metallica sounding just like Anthrax.

All Metal took from the Purple, The Zep, Uriah Heap (very underrated for influence) Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Hendrix, T Rex, Lynard Skynard even the Stones and BB King and many others If you asked what Rob Halfords influences were id guarantee at least 4 of them would be in it
