i think its supposed to be symbolic for the perfect man and perfect woman, who ironically are robotic. Once the guy realizes that when hes not perfect he will be disposed of, he freaks out and attempts to flee the 'world' hes living in. Meaning either that men are incapable of being perfect for women (lol) or that perfect people are incompatible. by the way, GOD DAMN THOSE CLONE GIRLS ARE HOT.
