Let me just take that last sentence to say this...he is really the only director so far to put the comic books on screen how they should be. He gives them justice, I think. One thing in particular is he really did capture how dark Batman was supposed to be...the tragic death of his parents, and the anger within him, and bringing villains to justice while also being a symbol. When you see actors like George Clooney portraying such a character as Batman, you know the effect won't be to good.

A great deal of work was put into the films, and some of the best actors took part, including Christian Bale (my personal favourite), Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Liam Neeson, Katie Holmes, Cillian Murphy, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman. The two films were directed by...the greatest director alive...drum-roll... Christopher Nolan! Indeed, an intelligent man! He has put onto screen what was told in the comic books, much better than any other director has!

I think that the amazing story of how Batman came to be and what he symbolizes and what it means to be Batman, etc, etc. is more interesting than fighting a villain. Though, saying that, I don't feel like I'm giving credit to the action scenes in 'Begins' and the Joker in 'Dark Knight'. I love action films. It's just, 'Begins' is a great film not only because of the action, but the detailed story that is told. All in all, everyone did a wonderful job making the two films. (Continue Up)

Well, here's my opinion. 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight' are some of my very favourite films and they are quite obviously the greatest 'Batman' films made to date! And they are equal on the grounds of acting, and 'The Dark Knight' is better in special effects. But all in all, in my own opinion, 'Batman Begins' is better than its sequel. I think that the story behind Bruce Wayne and Batman is very interesting...the depth...the plot...and a wonderful script as well. (Continue up)
