Yeah brings back so many memories, the days we were really good , i think we cling on to that too much now and have to realise that will never happen again unless some crazy millionaire dude comes along and buys Aberdeen , till then ill have my memory of that very special day in Scottish Football to this day

Best football game in history. Aberdeen had a glory year in the 80's. Aberdeen players back then are now managers at other football clubs some do other things.

This was when Aberdeen were best in Europe. It was a phenomenal achievement, yes, fergie's best ever in fact but best in Europe, definitely not. Dundee United were the best team in Scotland that year so how you can claim to best in Europe is a little baffling. Thats like saying Liverpool were best team in Europe in 2005 because they won Champions League. They werent, they were just the best team in that tournament. No doubt dons were great but if you cant win league you cant be best in europe.
