What a holy place. What a wonderful thing to have a king who is deeply committed to protecting the environment and to the Buddhist principles. That is such a healthy thing. No wonder the kingdom of Bhutan has such great peace and happiness.

first nepal,then pakistan,now maldeivs..and i hope real democracy will prevail in bhutan..not that of jigme thinley..whenever people talk about development in bhutan ....govt talks about gross national happiness...excuze always.....down with the monarchy down with corruption...media should fully understand that bhutan is not some fairyland country...it has lot of problems like any other countries in the world..eg like maldieves..many of us had no idea that president was a dictator...
