LOL what? it was 5 billion in 1980 6 billion in 1994 and now its 7.1 billion...9.5 in 2100? your out of your freakin mind!!!! if every child bearing woman had only one baby the pop would double in four years. not to mention 2 4 or 6 babys...you must have a seriously pesamistic view of the future my friend.

Check out WWF- "Living Planet Report-06"
They have three scenarios plotted with range of 8.9 bill in 2050 to 9.5 in 2100. They have a very well done piece of pop. biology in their report. Ecological footprint for humans is not looking good. Check it out

the only factor for population max isnt land its food distribution. humans dont take up that much space but the ability to distribute food determins max cap. as food technology increases and distribution nodes so will population. in industrial nations children are seen as i financial burden so growth is going down but in most thirdworld nations children are seen as financial boons.
