Well then, how about someone who has taken on corruption of her own party, was elected and served two terms as mayor, chairwoman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, 2003-2004, been Alaska's governor since December 2006, balanced an almost 11 billion dollar budget, and has an over 80% approval rating from her state. Hummm... Now that you mention it, she may be over qualified.

Our vice presidents in the past have had interesting pasts, and we've had some scoundrels for presidents. She's not going to be running the country, McCain + Congress will be, God Willing.
