transgender is not a sexual identity. It is a person figuring out how they feel about the inner gender and the gender their body shows. Being transgender mean u feel out of place in your own body. I'm not saying it is ok for children that young to be transitioning. but may give the parents a heads up for what to look for later so they can help the child later down the road if they do feel they are in the wrong body and have someone to talk to.

U Are right.
So very, very right.
Wouldn't it be good if this wasn't an issue, not because nobody did it, but because nobody objected to it?

girls are allowed to wear pants and dresses etc.
would i be a transgender child because i wore shorts and climbed trees and ran around screaming with friends of mine who consisted of boys and girls just cos i was female and not male?
how messed up is our social system? everyone is in so much fear of being discriminated for being different. Honestly its us adults and youg adults to grow up and let the kids be kids. ..and for crying out loud a kitchen set? LOOK AT JAMIE OLIVER FOR CHRISTS SAKE!!!

point they were trying to make about comparing it to Scotland was that societies are different and him wearing a dress doesn't make him gay or less of a 'man'. It is a social construct as to what is right or wrong but a person should be allowed to wear whatever they please without ppl assuming they're trans. Clothes are just clothes.. Why say a boy can't wear a dress? Its not an exclusive right of women to do so.

From my own experiance as a preschool teacher, I can tell you that sometimes this cross dressing isn't so much of a sexual identity. Sometimes it is just them understanding cultural gender roles. Which is a good thing because they are learning to understand society and its norms. Ive seen little boys think it is so funny to wear a dress because they understand those cultural boundries and see that they are breaking the "rules."
