well there are different kinds of rap like there is rock, soft rock, hard rock(personally i think this is shit), metal rock, etc. and not every great song even contain lyrics example Aphex Twin - Window Licker, or songs like Prodigy - Spitfire where they only have 1 line lol, but to each his own, i also used be a critic of rap but i listen to 2pac its what got me to explore more try it

playing high class names in videos or whatever means fuck all its not usually the same stuff its recorded on classic example is askin someone what guitar stairway to heaven was recorded on(its not a double neck sg or even a single) its a fender telecaster so if u wanna know what they use google there on stage equipment people like john mayer tell fan siets so his fans can try to recreate his sound if they want
