people that are saying its hurting the dogs ears are retards, dogs howl at sirens because to them, it mocks the sound of other dogs howling.
True, dogs ears are more sensitive than humans but a siren has too low of a pitch in order to upset a dogs ears unlike a fire alarm or pager.

Cruel, hurting his ears to that sound, dogs also don't like hovers because of the sound they make, some are high pitch sounds we can't hear and they hate it.
