its best to look at the expiration date of all ingredients used, and base it on which ever expires first. If the bottled water is good until, say... Dec 20, then your mixture will expire then.

yes completely safe if you look at the ratio, its really mostly water. I only used the ingredients that is important to the brush. Dish soap as detergent to clean oils and makeup residue in bristles. Conditioner to condition the bristles, much like conditioning hair. Alcohol to disinfect and sanitize, etc.

yes, same conditioner you use for your hair. I just use cups and measuring spoons - like in this video.

it will still work in cleaning your brush, but you need a conditioner to condition the bristles. Other wise, they will turn brittle and start breaking/shedding.
