Fantastic version. Short musical phrases repeated several times and final crescendo.
GM legend.

Satan Doll is what every big band musician has called this tune since Ellington first recorded it around 1939.

Is this off of a video or something that is commercially available? How could I get a full copy of this video? I would love to be able to show the whole performance to my students. Mulligan had his bari goldplated around 1993 and he died in 1996, so for this to be added in the last ten months, it had to have come from somewhere. As far as horn recommendations go, get a Conn. They worked for Mulligan and Carney.

im using a conn at school i personnaly dislike it cant reach over the high A without a shitload of air sounds discusting in the high piched octave which would you recommend yamaha 62 or selmer USA?

Gerry fantastic sound has also dueto the fact that he tunes the horn just a slightly bit sharp, never flat, he is floating.
