RE: Camshaff's VERY important news bit- (which is on nearly every WGA related video comment area, repeatedly, along with some other slanted, biased, falsified and laughable crap) The quote is from an OPEN LETTER that the idiot Mr. Short sent out to EVERY MAJOR MEDIA SOURCE after the AMPTP walked out of talks. The Hollywood Reported didn't just pick up some interview w/Tom Short. They didn't interview him. It's his own stupid press release.

I think what Smith is trying to say is that this strike is gonna be a big boon for the independant filmmakers if disgruntled viewers get bored enough, and he's rubbing it in Hollywood's face.

The "Hollywood Reporter" quoted Thomas Short, President of IATSE (union of stage hands & motion pic techs, etc.) as saying,"I don't believe the WGA ever intended to bargain in good faith. They are destroying a lot of lives in the process. As a result of their irresponsible and irrational behavior, the number of IA members who have lost work is approaching 40,000 people."
